Whether running the high volume collection practice,
negotiating settlements, or going to court to fight tough cases,
Norm still uses the right personal touch so that
clients know they are what is important. Norm is a Civil War enthusiast and is an active
member of the Robert E. Lee Civil War Roundtable. He has also
ran for public office as part of a grass-roots movement, and
although unsuccessful in getting elected, Citizen
Norm's efforts at bringing the truth about local politicians
to light has helped lead to the downfall of a three-term Mayor and
of the most powerful State Senator in New Jersey. |

New York, J.D. Cum Laude 1992. Clark University, Worcester, Massachusetts B.A. 1989.

Mr. Sternback began his legal career handling
criminal defense matters, which required him to make various
court appearances throughout New York City. He then spent
time handling real estate transactions which caused him to develop
a greater eye for the detail of contracts. He then joined
Herb Heitner and Norm Breitstein in 1994 and has been litigating
and collecting commercial collection cases ever since. Having spent over a decade hunting debtors and
their assets, whether employing the latest in electronic
databases, making personal visits to debtor locations, or making
life difficult for debtors in and out of Court,
Cary does what it takes to recover money for the
client. |
